Isn’t it true that when you're young, you dream big? You dream of a career you enjoy, a nice and comfortable home and a lifestyle that allows you to enjoy your life and raise your children!
Those were the dreams of John and Eltie Wilding of Orem, Utah, and for the most part, they were living that dream. However, that dream was almost ruined because of John’s health. Because of his health issues, his business was in jeopardy as well. Their debt was mounting and this stress left a dark cloud hanging over John and his family.
“After 30 years of general contracting, I dealt with daily excruciating knee and leg pain,” he explains. “I was taking five times the recommended daily pain medication. The irony is, because I felt bad, I was getting less done despite longer hours.”
In November of 2004 John learned about Relìv. He began taking the products right away. “I was desperate,” he explains. “I literally hurt from the inside out.”
Eltie had different ideas and was not excited about John starting the Reliv products. She had been managing their nutritional health for all of their 30 years of marriage. “She thought it was a wild goose chase,” John says.
Feeling Better, Sharing the Feeling
Even without Eltie on board, John decided to jump into the business as a Master Affiliate after being on the products for about 2 weeks. “I started sharing the products with family and friends before all of my results were in,” John says. “I knew Relìv was something special.”
As John plugged into the Relìv System and the stories changed his heart even more. His first month in the business was amazing, he generated $56,000 in volume and sponsored his sister and dad into the business as Master Affiliates.
The next few months were very exciting and John’s business was souring. They were earning about 3,000 a month and John’s health was dramatically improving. Eltie was amazed to see the differences she saw in John, or the checks that started arriving in the mail.
“I remember standing in an Old Navy store on a three-way call listening to stories and wondering if the products could help my family with their health,” she says. “Both my parents were suffering and I was interested in protecting our health for the long term.”
Eight Months to Presidential
Seeing all that was happening Eltie was on board and things began to move quickly. It was a short 8 months and the Wildings had achieved Presidential Director. “ The most amazing part,” John says, “is that they didn't do anything extraordinary — they simply followed directions.”
Eltie explains: “John's always been self-employed. He's managed crews of up to 70 people and is a good teacher. But most importantly, he's a great student.”
“We did everything our upline told us to do,” John adds. “When they told us to go to conference, we signed up. When they told us to bring people, we did.”
During the second conference they attended, the Wildings' were with 24 people from their organization. At the first International Conference that they attended, the couple stood in the Ambassador section as 65 members of their organization watched with pride.
"There's no coincidence that our business exploded after our first conference and continues to gain momentum after each one still,” Eltie says.
Lives Transformed
What was so exciting to realize is that their ability to help others was the best part of Reliv!
“Relìv has enabled us to help so many people we care about,” John says. “At 79-years-old, my dad just achieved Ambassador, my sister is a Bronze Ambassador and we're Silver — success with Relìv has a snowball effect.”
Together John and Eltie now enjoy more family time and managing their 100-acre ranch. “Our hopes and dreams for the future are in Relìv.”
